A post-doctoral position is currently available in our laboratory, dedicated to investigating immuno-regulatory pathways that exert control over innate and adaptive immune responses implicated in the pathogenesis of allergic diseases, asthma, and lung inflammation. This role is centered around elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved, utilizing cutting-edge molecular technologies such as cellular metabolomics and genomics in conjunction with traditional cell and molecular biology approaches. We are actively seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals who can engage in independent reasoning and are enthusiastic about acquiring new technologies. Ideal candidates should possess excellent writing and communication skills and be proficient in techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry, cell isolation, tissue culture, ELISA, RT-PCR, animal handling, and preferably, the measurement of airway hyperreactivity. Please note that this position is exclusively available to recent graduates with a PhD or those who anticipate graduating from a PhD program in the near future. Additionally, applicants should have authored at least one or two immune-related articles, with a preference for those related to immunology and inflammation.

Our laboratory is situated within the newly constructed Norris Research Tower at the Keck School of Medicine, providing full-time access to outstanding facilities within the department and the University. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment, including few flow cytometry analyzers, FACS and magnetic sorters, and confocal microscopy. The University of Southern California (USC) boasts two primary campuses located in the heart of Los Angeles, granting easy access to LA Live, the city's premier sports and entertainment center, as well as downtown LA.
