Research Fellow (m/f/d) in Cell Physiology and Biophysics

The Institute of Cell Biology and Biophysics, Dept. Cell Physiology and Biophysics, invites applications for the position of a Research Fellow (m/f/d) in Cell Physiology and Biophysics (Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 65 %) to be filled at short notice. The position is limited to 3 years. We are looking for motivated applicants to strengthen our team with a possibility of obtaining a doctorate.
Tasks and project description
The research will be embedded in a BMBF funded project, which aims to understanding the role of membrane transporters in the cell development and cell physiology. While working on the project the candidate will be offered the opportunity to work on her/his PhD thesis.
Hiring requirements
A completed scientific university degree (Master or equivalent) in life science disciplines (Biochemistry, Life Science, Molecular Biology, etc.) is a prerequisite for application. Good knowledge of molecular biological technics (Cloning, Crispr/Cas technology, etc.) and biochemical methods are recommended and excellent academic performance is expected. Cell culture is helpful, but not mandatory.
