Karolinska Institute Stockholm
Description
The Genander lab is located at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) in Stockholm, Sweden. CMB is a department with a strong focus on basic science. Research groups are organized into three thematic programs: Developmental Stem Cell Biology, Cell Biology and Infection and Cancer. CMB conducts research and education in cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, stem cell biology, cancer and infection biology.
Focus of the lab
The Genander lab is looking for a talented and motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the team. We are interested in defining mechanisms regulating epithelial stem cells during tissue homeostasis and tumor formation. The current project will be centered around citrullination, a posttranslational modification influencing protein and histone tail properties, focusing on skin tumor initiation and development.
