Job description
Coventry University is seeking a Research Fellow to work in the Centre for Intelligent Healthcare. The Centre aims to become a globally recognised research centre for pioneering and opinion-setting research in the area of digital healthcare and its contribution to improving communities and enriching and prolonging individual lives.
The Centre is home to a vibrant programme of work across our three core themes: Epidemiology and Evidence Based Healthcare,Healthcare Technology & Innovation , and also Behavioural and Implementation Science.
The post-holder will work within the Healthcare Technology & Innovation theme supporting the delivery of the multi-disciplinary research project. This project is funded by NIHR and aims to develop an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) solution to 1) help facilitate the clinical acceptance for electrohysterograhy (EHG) adoption into maternal monitoring and 2) achieve accurate prediction of pre-term birth. The work will involve: analysing data, developing and evaluating advanced algorithms, contributing to scientific paper writing, co-creating with stakeholders. The post is full-time and fixed term for 12 months, with the possibility of extension
