數學院是一個綜合性的國立學術研究機構，覆蓋了數學與系統(tǒng)科學的主要研究方向。目前，數學院除了下屬的四個研究所以外，還有三個中國科學院研究中心，分別為中國科學院國家數學與交叉科學中心、中國科學院晨興數學中心和中國科學院預測科學研究中心。此外，還有我國數學領域唯一一個國家重點實驗室——科學與工程計算國家重點實驗室，及五個中國科學院重點實驗室，分別為中國科學院管理決策與信息系統(tǒng)重點實驗室、中國科學院系統(tǒng)控制重點實驗室、中國科學院數學機械化重點實驗室，中國科學院華羅庚數學重點實驗室、中國科學院隨機復雜結構與數據科學重點實驗室等。詳見http://www.amss.ac.cn。

執(zhí)行國家科技人才計劃統(tǒng)籌銜接的相關要求。同層次國家科技人才計劃只能承擔一項，不能逆層次申請。

About AMSS
AMSS invites young scholars working in all areas of mathematics to apply for National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas) through AMSS.
Requirement for Applicants from NSFC
(1) Abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of
(2) Born on or after January 1, 1984.
(3) Have a PhD degree in mathematics or related areas.
(4) Have more than 36 months’ working experience at oversea universities or academic research institutions before April 15, 2024. For those who have obtained a PhD degree overseas and have outstanding research records, the limitation of work experience can be relaxed.
(5) Have strong research record and the potential of becoming an academic leader.
