一、學(xué)院簡(jiǎn)介：

海南大學(xué)國(guó)際旅游與公共管理學(xué)院于2023年12月在原旅游學(xué)院、國(guó)際旅游學(xué)院和公共管理學(xué)院基礎(chǔ)上組建而成，旨在整合學(xué)科發(fā)展資源，著力培養(yǎng)具備旅游與公共管理專業(yè)知識(shí)及相關(guān)能力的復(fù)合型國(guó)際化高端人才。作為國(guó)際旅游與公共管理學(xué)院一部分的海南大學(xué)亞利桑那州立大學(xué)聯(lián)合國(guó)際旅游學(xué)院于2017年5月獲教育部批準(zhǔn)成立，是海南省第一個(gè)中外合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院的創(chuàng)辦是貫徹落實(shí)習(xí)近平總書記視察海南時(shí)重要講話精神，落實(shí)《國(guó)務(wù)院關(guān)于推進(jìn)海南國(guó)際旅游島建設(shè)發(fā)展的若干意見》要求，主動(dòng)服務(wù)國(guó)家對(duì)外開放戰(zhàn)略和海南國(guó)際旅游島建設(shè)，推動(dòng)海南大學(xué)“雙一流”學(xué)科建設(shè)、加快提升國(guó)際化辦學(xué)水平而采取的一項(xiàng)重要舉措。學(xué)院于2017年9月開始招生，設(shè)置3個(gè)本科專業(yè)：人文地理與城鄉(xiāng)規(guī)劃、酒店管理和行政管理；2個(gè)碩士專業(yè)：公共管理和旅游管理。

學(xué)院教學(xué)實(shí)行中外雙學(xué)籍管理，培養(yǎng)方案由雙方聯(lián)合制定，專業(yè)課程實(shí)施全英教學(xué)，外方引進(jìn)課程占比50%。學(xué)院注重中外融合的國(guó)際師資團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)，學(xué)院師資團(tuán)隊(duì)由合作方、海南大學(xué)以及全球招聘三個(gè)來源組成，其中專業(yè)課教師100%有海外知名高校博士學(xué)歷，55%以上為外籍教師，來自美國(guó)、新西蘭、德國(guó)、加拿大等近二十多個(gè)國(guó)家，已形成一支高度國(guó)際化、教學(xué)與科研能力并舉的高水平師資隊(duì)伍。

國(guó)際旅游學(xué)院強(qiáng)調(diào)東西方教育理念的融合，突出國(guó)際化、創(chuàng)新型、跨學(xué)科特色；以服務(wù)于海南自貿(mào)港建設(shè)和海南大學(xué)“雙一流”學(xué)科發(fā)展需求，培養(yǎng)通曉國(guó)際規(guī)則、具有跨文化交流能力及國(guó)際競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的行業(yè)領(lǐng)軍人才為目標(biāo)；是具有多元文化特色的國(guó)際合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)。

Faculty position in Human Geography and Urban & Rural Planning Professor/Associate Professor/Lecture (Tenure-stream/Global hire)

In December 2023, the college of International Tourism and Public Administration at Hainan University was established through the merger of the former college of Tourism, HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, and college of Public Administration. The establishment aimed to consolidate disciplinary development resources and focus on nurturing high-caliber, internationally-oriented professionals with expertise in tourism and public administration, along with related competencies. As a component of the college of International Tourism and Public Administration, the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College was approved by the Ministry of Education of China in May 2017. The establishment of HATIC is an implementation of the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping, to develop world-class disciplines with an improved level of international education in Hainan Province. It’s enrollment began in September 2017, and currently both bachelor and master programs are offered to worldwide students. Three bachelor programs include: Human Geography and Urban & Rural Planning, Hotel Management and Public Administration. Two master programs are: Tourism Management, and Public Administration.

The academic teaching of the college adopts a dual enrollment management system. The curriculum is jointly developed by both parties, with professional courses conducted entirely in English. Foreign-introduced courses account for 50% of the curriculum.The faculty team of HAITC has been drawn from three sources: recommended by partners,Arizona State University; from Hainan University; and global recruitment. HAITC faculty members are all Ph.D. holders from renowned overseas universities. More than 55% of them are foreign experts originating from over twenty countries such as the United States, New Zealand, Germany, Canada, among others. This has contributed in the formation of a highly internationalized and competent faculty team excelling in both teaching and research capabilities.

HAITC emphasizes on the integration of eastern and western educational concepts, highlights international, innovative, and interdisciplinary characteristics, aiming to serve the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and HNU's "double first-class construction". HAITC is striving to cultivate industry leaders who are familiar with international rules and have cross-cultural communication capabilities and international competitiveness. As such, it stands as an international cooperative educational institution with a distinctive multicultural identity.
