一、研究院介紹

南京大學(xué)全球人文研究院由藝術(shù)學(xué)院牽頭建設(shè)，外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院和文學(xué)院等協(xié)同支持。文學(xué)院與藝術(shù)學(xué)院是"中國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)與藝術(shù)"雙一流學(xué)科群的共建單位。藝術(shù)學(xué)學(xué)科擁有教授14人（博士生導(dǎo)師12人），其中南京大學(xué)文科資深教授1人、歐洲科學(xué)院外籍院士1人、國(guó)家級(jí)高層次人才計(jì)劃入選者2人、國(guó)家級(jí)青年人才計(jì)劃入選者2人。外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)學(xué)科始建于1917年，是國(guó)家首批博士學(xué)位授予單位之一，擁有一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授予權(quán)，兩度入選教育部一流建設(shè)學(xué)科。

南京大學(xué)全球人文研究院是南京大學(xué)在蘇州校區(qū)首批建設(shè)的研究院之一，面向藝術(shù)與科技、英語(yǔ)與國(guó)際傳播以及全球人文的新發(fā)展，以培養(yǎng)融通不同學(xué)科知識(shí)的復(fù)合型人才為目標(biāo)，開展跨學(xué)科、跨文化和跨地區(qū)的綜合性研究，著力建設(shè)一支國(guó)際化、高水平的學(xué)術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)全球人文研究院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事藝術(shù)學(xué)、人工智能藝術(shù)、跨文化研究、國(guó)際傳播學(xué)等領(lǐng)域各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到研究院工作。本次擬招聘準(zhǔn)聘副教授、準(zhǔn)聘助理教授若干名；特別優(yōu)秀的高層次人才崗位另議。擬聘崗位的研究方向包括：

I. Introduction to the Institute

The Institute of Global Humanities at Nanjing University was established under the lead of the School of Arts, with cooperative support from the School of Foreign Studies and the School of Liberal Arts. Both the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Arts are joint-builders of the "Chinese Language, Literature, and Art" double first-class discipline cluster. The discipline of Art Studies has 14 professors (12 of whom are doctoral supervisors), including one senior university professor in liberal arts at Nanjing University, one foreign member of the European Academy of Sciences, two individuals selected for the national high-level talent program, and two selected for the national young talent program. The foreign languages and literature discipline, established in 1917, is one of the first institutions in the nation to award doctoral degrees. It has the authority to award first-level discipline doctorate degrees and has been selected twice for the Ministry of Education's first-class discipline construction project.

The Institute of Global Humanities at Nanjing University is one of the first research institutes established at the Suzhou campus. It addresses the new developments in the fields of arts and technology, English and international communication, and global humanities. The institute's aim is to nurture interdisciplinary talents with an understanding of different disciplines, and it carries out interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and cross-regional comprehensive research. It is committed to building an international and high-level academic team.

II. The Positions

We intend to recruit outstanding young talents in all major research fields of art studies, artificial intelligence in arts, cross-cultural studies, and international communication studies with workplace located on Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University. The Institute has several tenure-track associate and assistant professor positions open for application. The positions for high-level talents will be negotiated separately. Areas of the proposed positions include:

III. Requirements for Application

The applicant should

(1)abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research.

(2)demonstrate excellent teaching ethics and academic integrity, and have diligence in work, no criminal record, and no records of punishment for violations of teaching ethics or academic integrity.

(3)have a first-rate background in academic training—i.e., a PhD degree in relevant disciplines, excellent study and work experience at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); Have engaged in academic research for more than two years (applicant for assistant professor) or four years (applicant for associate professor) after receiving the doctoral degree.

(4)have the ability to teach basic core courses and advanced courses, master good teaching skills, and have excellent skills in language expression;

(5)demonstrate outstanding research output and potentiality for publications—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
