Professor Baile Chen’s research group is seeking a research associate in the areas of optoelectronics semiconductor device. The successful candidate will work independently on novel projects involving the design, process, characterization of optoelectronics device. Building and maintaining laboratory facilities and infrastructure is an important part of the job.
The position is available immediately for two year, with extension as an option based on productivity and funding. The position will report to Dr Baile Chen.

The successful candidate will work independently on novel projects involving the design, process, characterization of optoelectronics device. Building and maintaining laboratory facilities and infrastructure is an important part of the job.
(1) A Ph.D degree in electrical engineering, optics, physics, or materials science.
(2) Strong publication record in micro-/nano-scale fabrication, photonics device area or III-V semiconductor materials.
(3) Strong hand-on experiment on semiconductor device fabrication and device characterization.
(4) Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
