We are looking to hire new techs, postdocs, and PhD students to work on a range of projects at the cutting edge of investigations into the cell biology of neurodegenerative disease. (under an ERC 5-yr grant); (www.kaganovichlab.com).
Description
Post-doctoral fellows and doctoral students: A number of projects are available, including yeast genetics and cell biology projects investigating the mechanism and spatial regulation of protein folding quality control and aggregation; basic cell biology of protein movement in live cells; mechanisms of aggregate toxicity and aggregate management in human cell models; stress management in neurons in a C. elegans optogenetic/single-cell cell-biological model; as well as several other projects in disease models of ALS, Parkinson's, MJD, and Alzheimer's. My lab has a state-of-the-art imaging set-up in house. We have a dual resonant scanning 4ms/frame confocal system which is optimized for 4D imaging, and a TIRF/structured illumination super-resolution microscope. We are also getting a system for high-throughput imaging for the yeast genetics projects and a light-sheet illumination microscope. In addition to that we are surrounded by colleagues and collaborators who are experts in advanced proteomics, RNAseq, and genomics approaches, so a variety of potential new projects are also a possibility. We are looking for independent investigators to take advantage of our expertise as well as develop new projects, imaging tools, and approaches. I would be grateful for your help in spreading the word to potential postdocs who might be interested.為防止簡歷投遞丟失請抄送一份至:boshijob@126.com(郵件標(biāo)題格式:應(yīng)聘職位名稱+姓名+學(xué)歷+專業(yè)+中國博士人才網(wǎng))
