The brain is the most complex object known to mankind, and understanding how it functions is a major scientific challenge for our future. To truly understand the brain, we can take inspiration from how it grows and develops, creating the abilities, thoughts and feelings that we experience every day. The Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences is an internationally recognised leader in brain research, and is developing a new large program well funded by National and Local governments combining cutting-edge animal models of different types of brain disease. These models require measurements of cognitive and behavioural abilities, including how they develop across lifespan.
We are looking for research assistants to help develop tasks and train infant non-human primates, studying their behavioral and cognitive development. Such tests are guided by the ecological relevance for natural behavior, including development of hand-eye dexterity, development of working memory used during foraging, and evolution of higher cognitive skills like object permanence and an intuitive understanding of physics. Measurements will include non-invasive collection of eye position and pupil size using state of the art eye tracking.
And we also need assistants to help do a neuro plasticity project. People need to do some histology and related using the NHP.
崗位1：非人靈長類認知行為分析研究助理（1人）
（一） 崗位職責
負責非人靈長類認知行為訓練，檢測，行為學數據分析工作
（二） 崗位要求
1. 生物、醫(yī)學或獸醫(yī)相關專業(yè)本科及以上學歷；
2.對腦科學、神經科學感興趣，有非人靈長類相關工作經驗優(yōu)先；
3.能獨立開展工作，正直誠實，責任心強，有進取精神和團隊合作精神，具有較強的組織、溝通和協調能力。
崗位2：免疫組化研究助理（1人）
（一）崗位職責
負責非人靈長類動物免疫組化工作，包括灌流，取腦，組織切片染色工作，拍片及分析工作，跟進項目進展
（三） 崗位要求
1、生物學等相關本科及以上學歷；
2、有灌流，取腦，組織切片等工作經驗，以及熟悉獼猴的生理及解剖相關工作經驗者優(yōu)先；
3、善于學習新技術，正直誠實，責任心強，有進取精神和團隊合作精神，具有較強的組織、溝通和協調能力。
工作地點：上海市松江區(qū)G60基地（強業(yè)路500號）。
