The Florida International University (FIU) Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate position, in the lab of Dr. Jeremy Chambers, PhD. As part of this position, the qualified applicant will be expected to conduct research in mitochondrial signaling during aging and age-related disorders (including Parkinson disease and sarcopenia).

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or planned graduation date of Spring 2014, in a biomedically relevant discipline and must also have published in the areas of mitochondrial physiology, single transduction, or metabolism.

Preferred qualifications include experience with animal models.
