鵬城實(shí)驗(yàn)室是對標(biāo)國家實(shí)驗(yàn)室目標(biāo)建設(shè)的省實(shí)驗(yàn)室，聚焦人工智能、網(wǎng)絡(luò)通信、網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間安全等領(lǐng)域基礎(chǔ)和應(yīng)用基礎(chǔ)研究。實(shí)驗(yàn)室成立于2018年3月，地處粵港澳大灣區(qū)和廣深港創(chuàng)新走廊的核心區(qū)域——深圳市南山區(qū)，在中國特色社會主義先行示范區(qū)建設(shè)中肩負(fù)著重要的科技創(chuàng)新使命。

一、申請條件

具有博士學(xué)位，年齡一般不超過45周歲，近5年內(nèi)取得突出科研成果。青年申請人應(yīng)具有優(yōu)秀科研能力，有志于從事信息領(lǐng)域的基礎(chǔ)和應(yīng)用基礎(chǔ)研究。資深申請人應(yīng)具有突出的原創(chuàng)性科研創(chuàng)新成就，并具有較強(qiáng)的國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)影響力，具備科研團(tuán)隊(duì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力。

Global Search for Principal Investigators（PIs）of Peng Cheng Laboratory, Shenzhen

Located in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, the Peng Cheng Laboratory（PCL）is a newly-established research institution in March 2018 with generous supports from Guangdong and Shenzhen Governments. In partnership with leading universities, research institutions, and major enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, PCL is striving to make breakthroughs in major core theoretical issues in the fields of AI, network communications and cyberspace security, and work towards becoming an international scientific innovation center. It will also proactively explore the innovative institutional mechanism in line with the law of scientific research of the time, drawing on the strength of the "whole-nation system".

PCL is inviting global talents to fill tenure-track/tenured Principal Investigators（PIs）positions at all ranks. The PI program is to empower outstanding scientists to pursue fundamental scientific problems in all related fields of Information Science and Technology.

PCL will provide successful applicants with

Qualified candidates should have obtained a Ph.D. degree and several years of postdoctoral training or industrial experience for PIs. Junior applicants must demonstrate a clear and high potential to enhance PCL research missions. Senior applicants must have a well-established record of research accomplishments and have demonstrated scientific creativity and leadership with externally funded and highly visible research programs. Successful candidates are selected solely based on their scientific merits, regardless of gender, nationality, and race.
