Application is invited for the position of lab manger in the group of Dr. Jungnam Cho at Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology (http://www.sippe.ac.cn/sourcedb_sippe/zw/zjrc/201812/t20181219_5218215.html). Cho lab is also part of CAS-JIC Centre of Excellence for Plant and Microbial Science (www.cepams.org) which is a UK-China joint research centre. The main research focus of Cho lab is plant genome plasticity and mobile genetic elements. Particularly, we aim to understand how transposons jump and then use this understanding to develop crops with greater resilience to stress.
Job description:
The successful applicant will work closely with the PI to assist with general administrative affairs, manage research programs, support routine lab activities.
Qualification:
- Master degree or above in biology or plant science.
- Excellent English communication skill.
- Strong self-motivation, responsibility, teamwork and good organization.
