Introduction to SZBL

深圳灣實(shí)驗(yàn)室（生命信息與生物醫(yī)藥廣東省實(shí)驗(yàn)室，以下簡(jiǎn)稱“實(shí)驗(yàn)室”）是廣東省、深圳市建設(shè)粵港澳國(guó)際科技創(chuàng)新中心和綜合性國(guó)家科學(xué)中心的重大戰(zhàn)略部署，是深圳建設(shè)中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義先行示范區(qū)行動(dòng)中，全力支持的重大創(chuàng)新載體。實(shí)驗(yàn)室永久場(chǎng)地位于光明科學(xué)城，規(guī)劃總建筑面積40萬(wàn)平方米。

實(shí)驗(yàn)室面向世界科技前沿和人民生命健康，緊緊圍繞國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略布局，以協(xié)同攻克生命健康重大科學(xué)難題為導(dǎo)向，以腫瘤、代謝與心血管、神經(jīng)退行性、傳染性等重大疾病的預(yù)防、診斷和治療為焦點(diǎn)，以IT+BT融合及多學(xué)科交叉為特色，開展疾病機(jī)理、生命信息、創(chuàng)新藥物、醫(yī)學(xué)成像等領(lǐng)域研究。

Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, hereinafter referred to as SZBL, is a newly established Guangdong Provincial Laboratory. Located in the heart of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, SZBL aspires to be a world-class research institution and intellectual destination dedicated to understanding the fundamental biology underlying health and diseases.

The overarching aim of SZBL is to provide comprehensive and whole-of-life approaches to disease prevention and intervention with bio-inspired technology to explore bioinformatics, biomedicine and medical imaging. Key focuses of research include cancer, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, neurological and psychiatric disorders, and infectious diseases.

As a burgeoning institution, SZBL has convened more than 80 research groups with multidisciplinary backgrounds and professional expertise to push forward the vision of “Science for Global Health”. For more information about SZBL and its research, please visit https://www.szbl.ac.cn/.

Introduction to the Programme

為加強(qiáng)實(shí)驗(yàn)室科研團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)，支持創(chuàng)新性研究，鼓勵(lì)交叉融合，實(shí)驗(yàn)室于2021年啟動(dòng)實(shí)施深圳灣學(xué)者項(xiàng)目。

“深圳灣學(xué)者”包括“深圳灣港灣學(xué)者”和“深圳灣啟航學(xué)者”兩個(gè)類別。“深圳灣港灣學(xué)者”旨在支持外單位優(yōu)秀研究人員在實(shí)驗(yàn)室開展訪問(wèn)研究，促進(jìn)學(xué)科交叉融合。“深圳灣啟航學(xué)者”旨在培養(yǎng)和支持一批學(xué)術(shù)基礎(chǔ)扎實(shí)、具有突出創(chuàng)新能力和發(fā)展?jié)摿Φ那嗄陮W(xué)者，促進(jìn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室各研究所/中心學(xué)術(shù)梯隊(duì)和科研團(tuán)隊(duì)的建設(shè)；鼓勵(lì)原創(chuàng)大膽的科研探索。

“深圳灣學(xué)者”實(shí)行聘期制，聘期為3年。“深圳灣港灣學(xué)者”可續(xù)聘一個(gè)周期，“深圳灣啟航學(xué)者”表現(xiàn)優(yōu)異者，可申請(qǐng)?zhí)仄秆芯繂T（Junior Principal Investigator）崗位。

Shenzhen Bay Scholars Programme, initiated at the year of 2021, designed to host and sponsor Shenzhen Bay Scholar and Shenzhen Bay Fellow, is launched to advance SZBL’s talent pipeline, support innovative research, and promote interdisciplinary cooperation with external institutions.

Shenzhen Bay Scholar is a part-time position, which invites extraordinary scholars from peer-institutions to do visiting research at SZBL. Shenzhen Bay Fellow is a full-time position, which offers talented and promising early-career-researchers the opportunity to start their own independent/semi-independent research in a nurturing and multidisciplinary environment at SZBL. 

The employment term is three years in a general scope. Upon evaluation and re-application, another term could be extended for Shenzhen Bay Scholar. For Shenzhen Bay Fellow, applications for Junior Principal Investigator position would be welcomed based on the excellency in work performance.

招聘對(duì)象

Eligibility Criteria

深圳灣港灣學(xué)者應(yīng)符合以下兩種情況之一：（1）相關(guān)領(lǐng)域突出科學(xué)家，已獨(dú)立領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)在國(guó)際上做出具有影響力的工作；（2）醫(yī)生或者企業(yè)科研人員，已獨(dú)立帶領(lǐng)團(tuán)隊(duì)在臨床研究或企業(yè)技術(shù)研發(fā)中做出具有影響力的工作。研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)閷?shí)驗(yàn)室規(guī)劃研究方向或重大攻關(guān)項(xiàng)目相關(guān)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域。聘期內(nèi)在實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作時(shí)間每年不少于3個(gè)月。

深圳灣啟航學(xué)者應(yīng)具有博士學(xué)位，原則上獲得博士學(xué)位不超過(guò)3年。有良好學(xué)術(shù)訓(xùn)練基礎(chǔ)，在科學(xué)研究方面有出色的成就和創(chuàng)新性研究思路。聘期內(nèi)全職在實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作。

We anticipate applicants for Shenzhen Bay Scholar with one of the following qualifications: (i) as outstanding scientists possessing evidence of international recognition and demonstrated track record; (ii) as hospital doctors with independent project leadership experience in delivering influential clinical research; (iii) as enterprise research personnel with independent project leadership experience in delivering influential R&D work. All applicants should have worked in scientific disciplines closely related to SZBL’s current and future research agenda. After officially appointed, Shenzhen Bay Scholar need to base his/her work in SZBL for a minimum of three months per year during the term of appointment.

For Shenzhen Bay Fellow, applicants should be doctoral graduates (Ph.D./D.Eng./M.D.) for up to three years after graduation. Additionally, we anticipate applicants to have innovative minds and excellent academic training.

“深圳灣港灣學(xué)者”的崗位職責(zé)和支持條件：

（1）根據(jù)實(shí)驗(yàn)室以及研究所/中心的學(xué)科規(guī)劃，與實(shí)驗(yàn)室內(nèi)課題組開展合作研究工作；

（2）圍繞實(shí)驗(yàn)室研究方向規(guī)劃，參與實(shí)驗(yàn)室重大攻關(guān)項(xiàng)目研究或重大平臺(tái)建設(shè)；

（3）實(shí)驗(yàn)室提供世界先進(jìn)的技術(shù)支撐平臺(tái)，提供必要人員。

“深圳灣啟航學(xué)者”的崗位職責(zé)和支持條件：

（1）根據(jù)實(shí)驗(yàn)室以及研究所/中心的學(xué)科規(guī)劃，在現(xiàn)有課題組內(nèi)開展合作研究工作或獨(dú)立領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)開展科學(xué)研究工作；

（2）實(shí)驗(yàn)室提供世界先進(jìn)的技術(shù)支撐平臺(tái)，提供科研經(jīng)費(fèi)。

For Shenzhen Bay Scholar：

1. Conduct collaborative research with a current SZBL PI in line with the general mission and strategic plan of SZBL and target institute/center;

2. Take part in major projects or major platform construction of SZBL;

3. SZBL provides state-of-the-art core facilities and necessary personnel. 

For Shenzhen Bay Fellow：

1. Conduct independent/collaborative research in line with the general mission and strategic plan of SZBL and target institute/center;

2. SZBL provides state-of-the-art core facilities and stable research funds.

薪酬福利與其他待遇

Compensation and Benefits

根據(jù)實(shí)驗(yàn)室規(guī)定和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)執(zhí)行。其中，作為全職崗位，深圳灣啟航學(xué)者享有全職員工的所有福利待遇，包括五險(xiǎn)一金、補(bǔ)充醫(yī)療保險(xiǎn)、年度健康體檢、帶薪年假、人才住房；接收戶口檔案；協(xié)助子女入學(xué)等。

Compensation and benefits must comply with rules and regulations of SZBL. Shenzhen Bay Fellow, as a full-time position, is entitled to all benefits provided to full-time staff, including insurance and housing fund, supplementary medical insurance, annual physical examination, paid annual leave, public rental housing, and children’s education. For international staff, we also help them to apply for work permit, residence permit and foreign tax preference.
