濱海濕地生態(tài)系統(tǒng)教育部重點實驗室（廈門大學(xué)）在廈門大學(xué)近半個世紀(jì)紅樹林濕地生態(tài)學(xué)和近岸生態(tài)學(xué)研究的基礎(chǔ)上建立，以生態(tài)學(xué)、環(huán)境科學(xué)和海洋科學(xué)為主要依托學(xué)科,于2007年底獲批建設(shè), 2011年11月通過教育部驗收正式運(yùn)行。

實驗室瞄準(zhǔn)濱海濕地生態(tài)系統(tǒng)與全球變化的重大科學(xué)前沿，直面國家對沿海區(qū)域生態(tài)安全與環(huán)境保護(hù)的重大需求，立足基礎(chǔ)研究和應(yīng)用研究，以多學(xué)科交叉為基礎(chǔ)、以技術(shù)創(chuàng)新為動力，主攻研究方向為亞熱帶濱海濕地和海陸界面生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的結(jié)構(gòu)、功能及環(huán)境修復(fù)。實驗室借鑒國際化管理模式，科研和學(xué)術(shù)氛圍濃厚。

實驗室擁有一支以中科院院士、長江學(xué)者和杰出青年基金獲得者等為學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人、以中青年科學(xué)家為中堅力量的科研隊伍，固定人員46人，其中博士生導(dǎo)師24人，教授30人。

根據(jù)實驗室建設(shè)與發(fā)展需要，現(xiàn)面向海內(nèi)外公開誠聘實驗室主任。

    一、工作職責(zé)

1. 全面負(fù)責(zé)實驗室發(fā)展建設(shè)規(guī)劃并組織實施，將實驗室建成國家級的科研平臺；

2. 推進(jìn)團(tuán)隊建設(shè)，構(gòu)建一支國內(nèi)外有影響的高水平研究隊伍；

3. 組織承擔(dān)國家重大重點科技項目，取得一批有影響力的科技成果；

4. 拓展實驗室的國際合作與交流，力爭建成國際合作聯(lián)合實驗室。

二、招聘條件

1. 在濕地生態(tài)學(xué)、生態(tài)系統(tǒng)與全球變化等領(lǐng)域具有同行公認(rèn)的學(xué)術(shù)成就，是該領(lǐng)域高水平學(xué)科帶頭人；

2. 具有博士學(xué)位、教授職務(wù)；或具有國外著名高校終身系列副教授或以上職務(wù)；

3. 身體健康，年齡一般不超過45周歲，特別突出的人才年齡條件可適當(dāng)放寬。

4. 具有較強(qiáng)的拓展與國內(nèi)外科研機(jī)構(gòu)進(jìn)行合作與交流的能力；

5. 具有較強(qiáng)的管理和協(xié)調(diào)能力，具有較強(qiáng)的事業(yè)心以及團(tuán)結(jié)協(xié)作和拼搏精神，對實驗室建設(shè)和發(fā)展有創(chuàng)新性構(gòu)想。

三、工作條件及待遇
 1. 實行聘任制，聘期一般為五年；

Recruitment of Director of the Key Laboratory of Coastal and Wetland Ecosystems (Ministry of Education), Xiamen University

Introduction

Endorsed by MOE, the Key Laboratory of Coastal and Wetland Ecosystems (Xiamen University) (WEL) was established in November 2011. It is founded on decades of research in mangrove and coastal wetland ecology at Xiamen University. WEL is dedicated to interdisciplinary cutting-edge research on coastal and wetland ecosystems under the impact of global climate change, with a particular focus on the structure, function, and restoration of coastal wetland ecosystems in the tropical and subtropical regions.At present, there are 46 scientists, including one Member of Chinese Academy of Science and 30 professors.

We are now recruiting the Director of the Key Laboratory of Coastal and Wetland Ecosystems.

Responsibilities

1. The Director should take full charge of development and management of WEL, formulate development strategies of WEL, and build the lab into a national research platform.

2. The Director should recruit top talents, build a world-class research team.

3. The Director shall undertake key national scientific research projects, and obtain a number of influential research achievements.

4. The Director is also expected to strengthen international exchanges and communications with peers, and make great efforts to develop the lab into a Joint International Research Laboratory.

Qualifications

1. Applicants should be established scholars with peer recognition in the fields of wetland ecology, ecological system, global climate change and etc.

2. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree and a professorship (or a tenured associate professorship at a top-tier university).

3. Applicants should be in good health, and usually younger than 45 years of age (exception may be given to outstanding candidates).

4. Applicants should have the ability to expand the cooperation and communication with domestics and international research institutes.

5. Applicants should possess good interpersonal skills, professional ethics and team spirit, and have innovative ideas for the development of the lab.

Salaries and Benefits

1. The successful candidate will sign a contract of around 5 years with the University.
