Shandong University (SDU) is located in the birthplace of Confucian culture, known as the "hometown of Confucius and Mencius, the state of rites and ceremonies" in Shandong Province, has an inclusive and warm cultural environment. It is a time-honored, comprehensive university under the Ministry of Education, China. As one of the original institutions for modern higher education in China, SDU has received great respect worldwide. Shandong University is one of the initiative universities of modern Chinese higher education. Its medical school, established in 1864, signified the beginning of modern Chinese higher education. Its main body, Shandong Imperial College (Shandong Da Xue Tang) established in 1901, was the second national university in China, only after the Imperial University of Peking. Moreover, it was the first university to be established and run in accordance with a chartered constitution. For more than 100 years, Shandong University has been following the mission of “Reserve talents for the world, and seek prosperity for the nation” and the motto of "Noble in spirit, endless in knowledge." For this aim, it has cultivated over 400,000 talented young people of various specialties, and has been making significant contributions for the country and the regional economic and social development.

Shandong University comprises 8 campuses (Jinan Central Campus, Hongjialou Campus, Baotuquan Campus, Qianfoshan Campus, Software Park Campus, Xinglongshan Campus, Qingdao Campus and Weihai Campus) in three different cities (Jinan, Qingdao and Weihai). The university currently has 4 affiliated hospitals, which provides first-class medical and health care services for the faculty and staff. With a system of affiliated primary and secondary schools and kindergartens, Shandong University provides the best quality elementary education for the children of its faculty and staff.

二、學(xué)院概況 Introduction to CSE

1、地理位置與歷史沿革 Location and History

控制科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院位于山東大學(xué)千佛山校區(qū)，南眺千佛山、西臨趵突泉，北望黑虎泉與大明湖，風(fēng)景旖旎、位置優(yōu)越。

The School of Control Science and Engineering (CSE) of Shandong University is located on Qianfoshan campus in Jinan City. This campus is surrounded with many beautiful types of scenery like Qianfo Mountain to the south, Baotu Spring to the west, and Black Tiger Spring and Daming Lake to the north.

作為山東大學(xué)起源性工科學(xué)院，控制科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院前身為創(chuàng)建于1949年的山東工學(xué)院電機(jī)工程系。1952年全國(guó)院系調(diào)整，原山東大學(xué)1946年創(chuàng)建的電機(jī)工程專(zhuān)業(yè)并入該系。1989年電機(jī)工程系更名為自動(dòng)化工程系。2000年7月新山東大學(xué)成立后自動(dòng)化工程系更名為控制科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院。

School of CSE is one of the initiative faculties of engineering at Shandong University. It can trace back to the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) of Shandong University of Technology, which was established in 1949. The Electrical Engineering Specialty of Shandong University, established in 1946, incorporated into EE in 1952. In 1989, EE had changed its name as Automation Engineering (AE). After the merger of Shandong University with Shandong Medical University and Shandong University of Technology, the department of AE had changed its name as School of Control Science and Engineering in July of 2000.

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有教職工152人，其中教授56人，博士生導(dǎo)師45人；擁有“新能源發(fā)電與高效節(jié)能優(yōu)化控制”國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金創(chuàng)新研究群體，“復(fù)雜工業(yè)系統(tǒng)節(jié)能與先進(jìn)控制”教育部創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)；擁有中國(guó)工程院院士1人，教育部長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授3人，國(guó)家杰出青年基金獲得者4人，百千萬(wàn)人才工程國(guó)家級(jí)人選2人；國(guó)家特支計(jì)劃1人，國(guó)家教學(xué)名師1人；山東省泰山學(xué)者攀登計(jì)劃專(zhuān)家2人，泰山學(xué)者特聘教授6人。集聚長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者青年項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家優(yōu)秀青年基金獲得者等“四青”人才6人次，教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才5人，泰山學(xué)者青年項(xiàng)目3人，山東大學(xué)齊魯青年學(xué)者11人。另外，還有國(guó)務(wù)院政府特殊津貼獲得者和山東省有突出貢獻(xiàn)的中青年專(zhuān)家13人次。

School of CSE has 152 faculty members, including 56 professors, 45 doctoral supervisors, an Innovative Research Groups of National Natural Science Foundation of China and an Innovation Team by the Ministry of Education. There are 1 member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 3 "Changjiang Scholar" Distinguished Professor by the Ministry of Education, 4 winners of the National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, 2 Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project selected member, 1 Ten-Thousand Talent Program leading academic, 1 National Outstanding Teachers, 2 Shandong Taishan Scholar "Climbing" Program selected members, 6 Taishan Scholars Distinguished Professors, 6 winners of National Natural Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars of China, the Young "Changjiang Scholar" etc., 5 Excellent Talents in the New Century of the Ministry of Education, 3 Young Taishan Scholar, 11 Qilu young scholars, 13 Council government special allowance recipients, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in Shandong Province.

近年來(lái)，學(xué)院采取了一系列措施加強(qiáng)人才隊(duì)伍建設(shè)：（1）長(zhǎng)期堅(jiān)持“學(xué)術(shù)至上，學(xué)者至尊”辦院理念。學(xué)院主要負(fù)責(zé)人對(duì)待人才的座右銘是“全心全意為學(xué)者服務(wù),寧肯委屈自己不能委屈人才，寧肯難為自己不能難為人才”。（2）學(xué)院長(zhǎng)期形成了“幫扶”制度和氛圍，即老教師特別是杰出學(xué)者對(duì)青年學(xué)者的精心指導(dǎo)和支持、學(xué)院提前規(guī)劃組織、管服團(tuán)隊(duì)全方位服務(wù)等，在人才隊(duì)伍建設(shè)中發(fā)揮著重要作用。（3）設(shè)立“伯樂(lè)獎(jiǎng)”，獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)人才引育過(guò)程中做出突出貢獻(xiàn)人員；（4）改革人才評(píng)價(jià)制度，建立多元化評(píng)價(jià)體系，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不降低，出口多元化；（5）修訂職稱(chēng)評(píng)聘和崗位晉升條件和流程，一次答辯多階段評(píng)審，以德為先，注重教學(xué)，設(shè)立標(biāo)志性指標(biāo)追求卓越；（6）加強(qiáng)宣傳，走出國(guó)門(mén)延攬人才；（7）設(shè)立“國(guó)家優(yōu)秀青年人才培育計(jì)劃”，培養(yǎng)和扶持青年人才沖擊國(guó)家級(jí)人才計(jì)劃；（8）專(zhuān)門(mén)設(shè)立人才工作委員會(huì)，加大人才引育力度。

學(xué)院上下形成了“人人愛(ài)人才、人人引人才、人人佑人才”的人才建設(shè)新局面。

In recent years, the school has taken a series of measures to strengthen the construction of talent team: (1) Adhere to the concept of "academic first, scholars first" and "serving scholars wholeheartedly". (2) Form a "support" system and atmosphere, that is, the outstanding scholars carefully guide and support young scholars, and the school offers an all-round service and plays an important role in the construction of talent team. (3) Set up "Bole Award" to reward personnel who make outstanding contributions in the process of talent introduction. (4) Reform and establish a diversified evaluation system, keep the standards unchanged and export diversified. (5) Revise the promotion conditions and procedures, conduct multi-stage review in one defense, take morality as the first, pay attention to teaching, and set up landmark indicators to pursue excellence. 3、科研平臺(tái)和學(xué)科建設(shè) Research Platform and Discipline Setting

控制科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院是國(guó)家“211”工程、“985”工程和山東大學(xué)“學(xué)科高峰計(jì)劃”重點(diǎn)建設(shè)單位。學(xué)院建有“控制理論與控制工程”國(guó)家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科和“電力電子與電力傳動(dòng)”、“檢測(cè)技術(shù)與自動(dòng)化裝置”山東省重點(diǎn)學(xué)科，擁有“控制科學(xué)與工程”、“生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程”2個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授予權(quán)點(diǎn)和博士后流動(dòng)站、“電力電子與電力傳動(dòng)”二級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授予權(quán)點(diǎn)，并共建“人工智能”一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授予權(quán)點(diǎn)。

The School of CSE has been enrolled into the key construction projects such as the national "211" project, "985" project, as well as the "peak discipline plan" of Shandong University. It has a National Key Discipline of “Control Theory and Control Engineering”, 2 Provincial Key Disciplines of "Power Electronics and Power Transmission", "Detection Technology and Automation Devices", 4 doctoral programs in “Control Science and Engineering”, “Biomedical Engineering”, "Power Electronics and Power Transmission" and “Artificial Intelligence”.

建有“新能源與高效節(jié)能”國(guó)家地方聯(lián)合工程研究中心，“電力電子節(jié)能技術(shù)與裝備”、“智能無(wú)人系統(tǒng)”兩個(gè)教育部工程研究中心，“山東省新能源與儲(chǔ)能控制工程實(shí)驗(yàn)室”、“山東省智能傳感器與檢測(cè)技術(shù)工程實(shí)驗(yàn)室”，以及“山東省特殊環(huán)境作業(yè)機(jī)器人與裝備工程技術(shù)研究中心”等省級(jí)科研平臺(tái)。

The school owns the national-local joint engineering research center of "New Energy and Effective Conservation", two engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education, which are "Power Electronic Energy Saving Technology and Equipment" and "Intelligent Unmanned System", few Shandong Provincial research platforms, such as "New Energy and Energy Storage Control Center", "Intelligent Sensor and Detection Technology Center", as well as "Special Environment Robots and Equipment Innovation Center ".

近年來(lái)，學(xué)院承擔(dān)國(guó)家基金委創(chuàng)新群體項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃、“973”計(jì)劃、“863”計(jì)劃、科技支撐計(jì)劃、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目等100余項(xiàng)。近年來(lái)，科研經(jīng)費(fèi)連續(xù)快速增長(zhǎng)，2019年立項(xiàng)科研經(jīng)費(fèi)達(dá)到1.65億元。自2008年以來(lái)學(xué)院榮獲國(guó)家科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)5項(xiàng)（國(guó)家自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng)、國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)），另有省部級(jí)科技獎(jiǎng)40余項(xiàng)。在國(guó)際頂級(jí)期IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control、Automatica等學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文3000余篇，出版學(xué)術(shù)著作、教材40余部。

In recent years, the school has undertaken more than 100 key research projects, including the Science Fund for Creative Research Groups of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Basic Research Program (973 Program), the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), the National Key Technology R&D Program, and the Key Projects of NSFC. The school scientific research funding has been growing rapidly and continuously, which has reached 165 million yuan in 2019. The school has won 5 national science and technology awards since 2008, including 3 Second Prize of National Natural Science Award, 1 First Prize and 1 Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. The school has also won more than 40 science and technology awards in provincial and ministerial-level. In addition, more than 3000 academic papers have been published including the ones published in the top journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and Automatica. There are also more than 40 books and textbooks have been published in recent years.

4、國(guó)際交流 International Cooperation

學(xué)院非常重視國(guó)際化專(zhuān)業(yè)建設(shè)，每年邀請(qǐng)眾多國(guó)外著名專(zhuān)家學(xué)者來(lái)院講學(xué)交流。其中，國(guó)際著名控制論專(zhuān)家、澳大利亞科學(xué)院、工程院院士Brian D. O. Anderson教授受聘山東大學(xué)名譽(yù)教授，國(guó)際著名控制論專(zhuān)家、美國(guó)國(guó)家工程院、歐洲科學(xué)院院士、美國(guó)伊利諾伊大學(xué)香檳分校工程學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)Tamer Basar教授受聘山東大學(xué)名譽(yù)教授，美國(guó)阿拉巴馬大學(xué)J. E. Smith教授連續(xù)多年為自動(dòng)化專(zhuān)業(yè)開(kāi)設(shè)《過(guò)程控制系統(tǒng)》全英文課程，深受師生歡迎。學(xué)院還與英國(guó)鄧迪大學(xué)簽署“3+1+1”聯(lián)合辦學(xué)協(xié)議，在生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程專(zhuān)業(yè)領(lǐng)域開(kāi)展中外聯(lián)合人才培養(yǎng)。另外，還有來(lái)自亞洲、非洲、港澳臺(tái)等國(guó)家和地區(qū)的留學(xué)生到學(xué)院攻讀學(xué)士、碩士和博士學(xué)位。

The schoolattaches great importance to internationalization and keeps on inviting well-known experts and scholars to give lectures every year. Many world-leading professors have joined in as the university honorary professors such as Prof. Brian D. O. Anderson (the fellow of Australian Academy of Science and the world-leading experts in the area of automatic control) and Prof. Tamer Basar (the fellow of National Academy of Engineering of America, the member of Academia Europaea and the former dean of the college of engineering in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). Prof. J. E. Smith from the University of Alabama has been giving the popular lectures on “Process Control Systems” for the students in the school for many years.

(2)For overseas applicants, the minimum requirement is assistant professorship in high level universities or corresponding positions in research institutions. Those who have the experience of long-term overseas academic training will also be considered.

(3) For domestic applicants, the minimum requirement is associate professorship in universities or research institutions.

For overseas applicants, the minimum requirement is assistant professorship or postdoctoral position in high level universities or corresponding positions in research institutions. For domestic applicants, the minimum requirement is professorship in universities or research institutions.

(2) Tenure-track Associate Professor: Scholars under the age of 35. Excellent postdoctoral or doctoral degree holder from a well-known university or research institution, or associate professors.

4、博士后

（1）設(shè)特別資助類(lèi)博士后、重點(diǎn)資助類(lèi)博士后、項(xiàng)目資助類(lèi)博士后。

（2）年齡不超過(guò)35周歲。

4. Postdoctoral Research Fellow

(1) Postdoctoral research fellows in SUD are divided into 3 types according to different funds: special funds, key funds and project funds.

(2) Applicants should be Ph.D. graduates under the age of 35 from prestigious domestic or overseas universities or research institutes within the past 3 years.

(3) A consecutive postdoctoral research period for no less than 21 months in SDU is required.

5、外籍及港澳臺(tái)地區(qū)教師

（1）遵守中華人民共和國(guó)憲法和法律法規(guī)，尊重中華民族的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣；身體健康，年齡一般在50周歲以下。

(1) Under 50 years old in general. Abide by the constitution, laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China; respect the habits and customs of the nation.

(2) Applicants should hold a doctoral degree and related working experience. Assistant professors or professors of higher positions associated with prestigious universities and research institutes are preferred.

五、待遇及支持條件Remuneration and Support

1、高層次青年人才

（1）聘任為教授、博導(dǎo)。

（2）年薪不低于50萬(wàn)元。

（3）學(xué)科建設(shè)經(jīng)費(fèi)：在國(guó)家撥付科研經(jīng)費(fèi)（自然科學(xué)、工程技術(shù)領(lǐng)域一般為200-300萬(wàn)）基礎(chǔ)上，學(xué)校提供不低于1:1學(xué)科建設(shè)經(jīng)費(fèi)配套。

2.QILUYoung Scholar

(3) Funds for research development: no less than 1 million RMB.

(4) Housing benefits: SDU will provide an allowance of 300,000 to 500,000 RMB. The SDU Experts’ apartments are available at preferential rent.

(5) SDU provides high-quality health care and on-campus schooling for children of the successful applicants.

3、預(yù)聘制、合同聘用制教師

（1）事業(yè)單位基本工資待遇及有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的績(jī)效工資。

（2）科研啟動(dòng)經(jīng)費(fèi)：6-20萬(wàn)元，入校后入選“山東大學(xué)青年學(xué)者未來(lái)計(jì)劃”者50萬(wàn)元（入選比例較高）。

3. Tenure-track Faculty

(1) Competitive salary and allowance depending on contribution.

(2) Research fund of RMB 60, 000 to 200,000; 200, 000 to 500,000 for those who are selected in the “SDU Young Scholars Program”.

(3) Housing allowance, high-quality health care and on-campus schooling for the children of successful applicants.

4、博士后

（1）年薪：特別資助類(lèi)不低于30萬(wàn)元；重點(diǎn)資助類(lèi)不低于20萬(wàn)元；項(xiàng)目資助類(lèi)不低于12萬(wàn)元。另有濟(jì)南市補(bǔ)助津貼5000元/月。

（2）按在職事業(yè)編制教師同等標(biāo)準(zhǔn)繳納社會(huì)保險(xiǎn)和公積金；為外籍及港澳臺(tái)博士后購(gòu)買(mǎi)商業(yè)醫(yī)療保險(xiǎn)。

（3）提供博士后公寓優(yōu)惠租住。

（4）提供一流的醫(yī)療保健服務(wù)。

（5）為關(guān)系轉(zhuǎn)入我校的博士后子女提供山東省最優(yōu)質(zhì)的基礎(chǔ)教育。

4. Postdoctoral Research Fellow

(1) The minimum fund for each postdoctoral research fellow of special funds is 300,000RMB/year, and 200,000RMB/year for each postdoctoral research fellow of key funds, 120,000RMB/year for each postdoctoral research fellow of project funds.

(2) Social insurance and housing accumulation funds in China by the same standard of counterpart teaching faculty are provided. Foreign postdoctoral research fellows are covered by commercial health insurance.

(3) Apartments for postdoctoral research fellows near the university are available for rent.

(4) High-quality heath care and on-campus schooling for children of the successful applicants working full-time at SDU.

5、外籍及港澳臺(tái)地區(qū)教師
