The postdoc will have the opportunity to work on a mode-coupling theory of the glass transition in confined systems, in particular, to elaborate a numerical implementation of the equations of motion to study the ramifications of the theory.

The ideal candidate has a profound expertise on slow transport processes, advanced numerical methods, C++ and scripting. Professional fluency in the English language including drafting skills is a mandatory requirement.
The position is a full time post-doc and is available starting from September 2018 for initially 2 years and may come with teaching duties. The salary will match the Austrian FWF pay scale.
