Job Description
Dr. Shitao Li’s laboratory (https://ocrid.okstate.edu/node/251 ) is seeking two highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellows with the ability to address essential questions in the innate immunity-driven autoimmune disease and tumorigenesis. Dr. Li’s laboratory adopts various omics, molecular and genetic approaches to investigate autoimmunity and breast cancer. Although Dr. Li’s laboratory is young (3 years old), the laboratory is very energetic and productive. His laboratory has published 9 papers in high profile journals, including Nature Communications (2017), Journal of Experimental Medicine (2017), PLoS Pathogens (2015) and Journal of Virology (2018). Currently, Dr. Li's lab has four mouse models with >4 million dollars grant support. Responsible, dedicated, self-motivated and hard-working candidates are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., or Ph.D./M.D. Previous experience in molecular biology is required. Must have at least one first author publication. Good written skills are necessary. Ability to communicate and write summaries of results required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with mice or cancer biology would be ideal.
