You are cordially invited to apply for Postdoctoral Fellow positions in the laboratory of Dr. Mingyu Liang in the Center of Systems Molecular Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. You will have the opportunity to perform cutting-edge mechanistic studies of genetics, epigenetics and the regulatory genome in human cardiovascular or renal disease directly in human subject materials. You will be an important part of a large group that is both rigorous and collegial, and you will have the opportunity to learn how to lead team science projects. The applicant should have a recent or expected Ph.D. degree in biological, biomedical or physical sciences. Strong skills in molecular biology is required. Experience with genome editing is highly desirable. Familiarity with human induced pluripotent stem cells or cardiovascular or renal disease research will be a plus but is not required. The applicant should be committed to developing an independent research career and should be an excellent communicator and fluent in spoken and written English.
