Postdoctoral Associate - Jiang Lab

We are currently looking for a teamwork-oriented Postdoctoral Associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Youxing Jiang at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be an open-minded, flexible individual with strong communication skills who can bring complementary research experience and new ideas to the lab while also learning from others on the team. The Jiang lab utilizes structural biology and electrophysiology tools to study the structure and function of membrane ion channels and transporters. Education
A Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field is required.
Experience
Research experience in protein purification and expression is required.
Research experience in membrane protein biochemistry and reconstitution is highly preferred.
Experience in using either cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography for structure determination is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements
